Be it any sport, warming up before a match is crucial if you want to perform your best. It allows you to get the blood pumping and forces the muscles to start working more efficiently. And tennis matches are no different.

Here are three warm-up exercises you should consider doing using a tennis net system that can be easily set up anywhere.

1. Cardio

To activate your muscles and tendons, it is recommended that you begin with a bit of cardio. The best way to do this is to take a few rounds of light jogging around your tennis court or net system. Remember, this is a warm-up exercise, so you don’t need to sprint; all that’s required is to get your heart rate up so that blood flows to all of your muscle groups.

2. Swinging Exercises

While playing a tennis match, you’ll be making use of swinging motions to hit the ball. That’s why you should incorporate some light motions of such sort to pump blood in your arms and legs. Begin by turning your waist from one end to the other and let your arms lay loose by your sides.

To warm up your legs, plant your feet firmly on the ground and swing one leg to the right and back. Repeat the same with the other leg, and make sure you do this at a fast pace so that your heart rate stays up.

3. Shoulder Rotations

Because your upper body is going to do rigorous exercises during your tennis match, it's best to work out your shoulders before the match begins. Start with rotating your shoulder joints in forwards and backward motions. Like the previous exercise, keep your arms loose by the sides and let them move freely.

With these warm-up exercises, you will be working on the core muscle groups involved in a tennis match.
